Love It or List It Audience Reviews

Wordiezett So much average
Stevecorp Don't listen to the negative reviews
Tobias Burrows It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
ravmeltt In all fairness, someone here commented that David doesn't deliver and that Hilary promises things she can't deliver, whereas the Property Brothers deliver, but I disagree. They said that the Property checks the houses while Hillary doesn't. But I've seen many times where the Property Brothers do make a suggestion for reno, then go in after and find some other stuff that brings up the budget. Of course I know Hillary does that too. But I'm not here to complain about that. I've seen where David many times over finds dream houses that the home owners want, yet they opt to love the house that Hillary worked on. Hillary is a GREAT designer. No one can dispute that. That's why sometimes I think she should have a show all her own, and David should have his own House Hunting show. Cause he will go all out to find you the right home, and Hillary will do her best and greatest, so that even if she doesn't get you everything on your list, what she gives you is so wonderful that you're willing to keep the house that is short of a garage (which she took away), or where she left an untouched basement, or did not fix the master bathroom or give you the guest room you needed. She is that good!So what's the point? Most times the home owners love the house in spite of those shortcomings, when poor David has walked/driven his heart out to find what they were looking for. I often feel sorry for him. So maybe it's time to separate the Love it/List it theme and just have a Love it by itself and a List it by itself. Or go to homeowners who definitely want to list it but wants Hillary to fix up their own home first before listing.
christinegodby This is not a fair competition because no matter what the designer always wins. She gets the money for the renovation; he doesn't always get to list the house. How is that even a fair competition. No matter what she wins in my opinion. Even if he gets the home owners to list the house, she still got the job to renovate the home first! Stupid competition if you ask me!!!
labbysexy-544-183001 Found this show on a lazy Saturday when the weather meant we were going to be stuck at home all weekend. Flipping through channels, I came across this without thinking much of it and thoroughly enjoyed it. I read some of the comments and did not understand why it had some bad reviews as those of us who enjoy interior designing will find this a nice show to watch, seeing the transformation from shab to chick. Whilst 30mins cannot do it justice in detailing all the intricacies involved it is not that serious serious and see it as for what it is, a Simple, Fun TV!! Unsure why we need to write a minimum of 10lines as some of us are straight to the point but now I have had to pad my statement unnecessarily just to make the quota.
curtisc-04407 This show is so stressful to watch. If you have ever seen "Flip or Flop" on HGTV, you know that Tarek fixes foreclosed, destroyed homes for around $50,000. Hilary on "Love it or List it" barely does anything to the houses even with budgets that exceed $100,000. She must be ripping off the people on the show and paying her contractor friends a ton of money. I have seen her say, "We don't have enough money to add a closet." A closet only costs about $800 to add! Hilary is an absolute disgrace. Then, she spends half of the budget on furniture and decorations, which have nothing to do with the value of the house! I have no idea how Hilary even has a job, let alone a TV show.
