Cage Dive Audience Reviews

Editorial Review
Beanbioca As Good As It Gets
GarnettTeenage The film was still a fun one that will make you laugh and have you leaving the theater feeling like you just stole something valuable and got away with it.
Cooktopi The acting in this movie is really good.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
cjhj1 Once you have experienced a classic horror movie all the rest is just noise and sexual innuendo.I deleted this from my collection and saved 19Gb of hard drive space for something original and not a copy of a copy of a copy with 'Z' actors, guys trying to be sickeningly cool and tough and girls trying to use their bodies instead of very poor acting ability.'Blair Witch' was a modern abomination that had some appeal but for the older generation we had seen it all before but with real actors who knew how to entertain, not the third rate amateurish mish-mash that these modern film makers think we enjoy, just how many will continue to use this Lost Camera found crap and try to pass it off as something new?
fulcisbeard It's difficult to make a found footage film about people stranded in shark infested waters that isn't scary. The situation alone is enough to create tension. As a result, I liked Cage Dive. Yeah the acting is a bit questionable and we're given a large amount of filler at the beginning, as we're introduced to the various characters. Ultimately you'll probably find yourself wishing they'd just bloody well get on to the shark bit! I guess a bit of context is needed to make us empathise with the characters, but i think films like Reef and Open Water achieves this much more enjoyably. This film is everything you think it will be. Horrendous scenes of people in distress, and the tension that comes with knowing anyone could be picked off at any moment. I particularly liked the night vision scenes. Absolutely Crazy! One criticism is that when the characters first become stranded in the ocean, they don't really seem too worried. They're clearly scared, but it seems a bit restrained. Whereas I think anyone would be utterly pooing themselves in a situation like that.Plus the bit where the Megan sets off the flare and burns down their life raft is just exquisite. All in all, if you like shark movies, survival movies or found footage, and you don't take it too seriously, this is a pretty enjoyable, effective and tense little film.Muito bem caralho.
Cobrabat I enjoyed this movie more than I thought I would. After reading some of the reviews I nearly gave it a miss, but being a big fan of shark movies I decided to give it a chance. Despite the cover leading you to think the sharks are a fanciful size, the actual shark footage was believable and thankfully not overdone. This is a standalone movie but I would put it on a par with the first Open Water movie and I liked it much more than the ridiculous Open Water 2. The acting was good and while some parts dragged on there was enough (including a few jump scares) to keep you invested in the story. Some reviews have compared this with "The Shallows" and while this movie is different in many ways it was refreshing that the sharks weren't single-minded in their efforts to get their prey. This movie doesn't pretend to be a masterpiece but certainly has some good moments and is worth a viewing. The very low and very high reviews are hard to take seriously and despite some of the more annoying moments I reckon it's a solid 6 out of 10.
kaefab I give it a 2 for the cage, so its a found footage movie, with sharks.... the third installment of this awful franchise. To had to the drama of the 3 main character, the girlfriend is cheating with both brothers my my finally we are getting somewhere, since 90% of all people get separated divorce and more.MGTOW, for sure and 4 life, this movie brings nothing new to the table and is in fact very boring, the found footage gets old very fast the drama is awful and all actors cannot act to save there lives, i watch this turtle til the end because i was rooting for the sharks the best actors in the movie.
