Collision Earth Audience Reviews

Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Rexanne It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
littlespaceman-48165 Before you complain, yes I gave it a good rating. I will, however, say that it is one of the worst films of our time as a public vote. And I see that. The CGI, the plot and acting were pretty bad put the actual science behind it makes me want to think they did their homework on this. It is stated that a comet struck the sun which caused it to turn into a magnetar for a small amount of time. There is actually evidence to back this up. When a comet strikes the sun it produces waves of energy throughout it's surface causing giant solar flares. if a large enough one were to hit the sun it could produce something similar to a magnetar flare. The sun itself would not become a magnetar but that's good enough for me. The flare would be able to magnetize mercury and knock it out of orbit and the rest of the science seems to add up. As a movie, I'd have to say i quite enjoyed it. Albiet it is pretty bad seeing as it focuses on one area on the world, doesnt really make it easy to belive that there are freakin manned missions to mercury and the fact that there is almost no choas with civillians that the world is ending. I know that it's bad and I know that it was made on a low budget but I'm a sucker for low rated movies. Probably becuase I don't take into acount the realism of the scenario, I only focus on the main premice. Movies like Geostorm, Unfirended and Into the Storm have really low ratings but they are some of my favourites. I would say that I wouldn't reccomend the film unless you like crappy visuals but personally I liked it.
davemanser The action took place over a whole day and night until the following morning (I guess). The meteorites were still landing in the same place although the earth's rotation would have put Oregon round the other side of the Earth facing away from the wayward Mercury. Also the radio would not work as the Earth would be in the way. If the car that killed the aircraft-mechanic was sucked up and dumped why wasn't his rifle sucked up? It's a lot lighter than a car. What a hoot. Although quite enjoyable for the action - I love the special effects, particularly the object dropping out of the sky, some bits are a bit cliché with far too many obstacles in the way. When the student was trying to get into the secret facility why didn't he call the spaceship and let the security guard speak to the spaceship?
christiank7 Who paid for the making of this ? I bet they are seriously ticked off now!!!!!!!! On almost every level this movie was a disgrace and a shameful attempt at making a film. The acting was so below par that even if they had put paper bags over their collective heads and we were not privy to their facial expressions we would still be throwing up. So the sun turned into a magnetar for a split second??? Yah, right and I just turned into a turnip for a few seconds - gasp, sigh disbelief. The other aspect is the poor graphics. I mean even a first year #d animation student would get the shadow right below and object on the ground. Not so here people. The scenes in the cockpit were in comparison brilliant and they were pretty poor indeed. OK Do not watch this film - it is a danger to your intelligence.
filmboom If you want bad script, bad production value, bad acting and altogether a waste of 90 minutes you'll never get back, then watch any of Cinetel Productions' movies. Lisa Hansen is famous in Hollywood for putting out C-pictures...not even B-minus. She finds crap, puts it on the screen and pockets the meager profits she makes on foreign distribution.Lisa Hansen is also known for questionable financial practices when she lands her production team in some unsuspecting city where she sets her films. But then, you might expect that given the sleazy, slippery, conniving producing she's known for.Collision Earth shows that you'll never go broke underestimating the taste of a bad producer.
