Red Nose Day Actually Audience Reviews

Plantiana Yawn. Poorly Filmed Snooze Fest.
Console best movie i've ever seen.
Rosie Searle It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Marva It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
Duc Hoang Kim I remember the first time watching "Love Actually" was 2011, hiding in the blanket so that my mom could not know that I hadn't sleep in midnight. And this film has changed my life, my point of view about love. It really stays around us, if we know how to feel it.6 years later and I know about "Red nose day, actually". Only with a few starting song, all of my memories flow back (despite the fact that I have saved and watch LA movie over and over and over). I feel like seeing an old friend again. Once and for all. Although being released on a hot summer day, I think it will touch the heart of many people, including me.
studioAT Like other people I was a bit sceptical when this sequel to 'Love Actually', one of the most beloved Christmas films ever, was announced. As much fun as it would be to revisit the characters, it seemed a bit of a gimmick, albeit it one for a good cause.I should have had more faith in writer Richard Curtis though, who manages to pen a great 10 minute sequel, that does more in its short length than I think a 90 minute version could have done.Much like the original film it's warm, it's funny, and it also quite brilliantly pokes fun at the iconic moments from the original film.It was great fun. Well done to all involved.
Horst in Translation ([email protected]) "Red Nose Day Actually" is a 15-minute live action short film from the UK that aired a week ago (March 2017) for the first time and shows us how things have changed in the last 1.5 decades for the protagonists from the very successful "Love Actually". So we get to see Neeson, Grant, Knightley, Firth and others in here once again reprising their roles from (even today) one of the most beloved Christmas films of all time. The very first scene was my favorite right away. I did not remember the actor from "The Walking Dead" was actually in "Love Actually" and boy I also did not remember how young Keira Knightley was back when this film came out. Anyway, back to this one here, it gets a bit weaker after the first scene, but it's still pretty solid and I recommend checking it out, especially to the biggest "Love Actually" fans. Those really don't want to miss out. Oh yeah writer and director is of course again Richard Curtis and looking at how rarely he directed anything this is quite an honor, even if these 15 minutes probably also mean we will never be getting a LA sequel. Shame. But we take what we can get. See it, a really nice idea for this year's Red Nose Day.
Prismark10 Red Nose Day Actually could easily been Smug Actually in this ten minute sequel to Love Actually. It is from the original writer Richard Curtis, one of the founders of Comic Relief. This special is set 14 years after the original movie and most of the original cast are reunited. Glaring absences include Alan Rickman sadly died in 2016 and this meant Emma Thompson declined to appear who played his wife. It is when Rowan Atkinson reprises an element from the original film that you realise Rickman's loss from this special.Hugh Grant returns as the Prime Minister, not realising he is too old to dance to Drake tunes but still believes in the power of love. Billy Mack gives publicity to his latest charity single as his autobiography is due out. Colin Firth still tries to grapple with Portugues. Liam Neeson's particular set of skills is needed by his son who is about to get engaged. Keira Knightley gets an invitation to walk with the dead.Curtis should be applauded for giving an audience a little treat and by reuniting his cast of now international stars.
