Red Riding Hood Audience Reviews

Steineded How sad is this?
Grimossfer Clever and entertaining enough to recommend even to members of the 1%
Jenna Walter The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
Portia Hilton Blistering performances.
paulclaassen The film features some good visuals and a very different werewolf story. The wolf effects are not the best I've seen and even looks animated at times. There's a lot to like about the film and there's a lot to dislike. Some characters are very bland and even the love triangle is not all that interesting. It was nevertheless still entertaining.
zeedeegood Just imagine how bad this movie would be without Gary Oldman. How they talked him into this is beyond me. It's like throwing a Rose into a big bowl of crap. Terrible acting (other than Oldman), cheeseball effects, horrible writing. 20 minutes in, and I'm ready to stab my eyeballs with a pencil.
Benedito Dias Rodrigues Most of the people didn't like this movie, but l enjoy...maybe the old tale has been changed but the primary elements was good enough. Althroug is a Studio's movie without external scenes and helped by graphic computer the movie works... and with the cast like Gary Oldman,Julie Christie and Virginia Madsen together with Amanda Seyfried and the young actors hold the picture...the false track in the script let the viewers confused who is the beast anyway....good entertainment really.
jneroh21 Now I admit that I don't mind bad movies sometimes. I have enjoyed many cheesy slasher sequels, and I didn't even mind the village. As a movie lover it is rare for me to turn a movie off before the end, out of hope for finding a redeeming point. I couldn't make it through this movie, I even tried again a couple years later with the same result. I've read many reviews with twilight comparisons but honestly you're better off watching twilight. At least you know what to expect from that and it doesn't try to sell itself as something it's not. A dark retelling of a classic Grimm fairytale this is not. Bugs bunny did the fairytale more justice than this movie came close to. I'll spare you the details of everything this movie does wrong, just please spare yourself the torture of watching it.
