Info

Set in 1980s London, this comedy series follows the Easmon family, which has settled in England after having arrived from Sierra Leone a decade earlier. The Easmons’ son, Akuna, hangs out in the housing project where the family lives, playing soccer and dodging the local thugs. The family’s life is turned upside down when Walter’s brother Valentine arrives in the U.K., bringing chaos in his wake and igniting a passion for music in Akuna.

In the Long Run Audience Reviews

Perry Kate Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
GazerRise Fantastic!
Loui Blair It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
herehelpyou I am on episode . I have had a few laughs about things that used to happen when I was younger. Not bad Idris, not bad.Different from everything else nice move.
j-murdoch862 A totally different slant on the 80's with a very good dynamic between the characters. It offers a comedic take on the trials and tribulations of a West African family bringing up their family in London.
deejaypard Watched all six episodes of this back to back. Its like a modern day Desmonds, totally loved it, will defo watch it all again. Idris Smashed it - Funny AF. The soundtrack is amazing toooo 10/10
paulineelley888 This is absolutely perfect of the time. Can't wait to see the next episode. I recognise the. Loathing and everything. So nostalgic.
